4 Day Tremisana Lodge Safari Location: Kruger Park Highlights - 4hr sunset drive on Balule Big 5 Reserve - Bush BBQ - 4hr bush walk with armed ranger - 3.5hr sundowner game drive - Full day in Kruger on open gameviewer - Sunrise drive - Scenic highlights of Blyde River Canyon including a stop at the Three Rondawels DAY ONE: Pick up from your hotel in JHB or O.R. Tambo Airport and travel via the Highveld grasslands to Tremisana Game Lodge in the Kruger Park. Board an open Landcruiser for a 4h Sunset Drive, your first opportunity to experience the fauna and flora of Africa. Watch the magnificent African sunset and, after dark, use a spotlight to view nocturnal animals. Dinner at the Marula Tree Boma will be a BUSH BBQ. After dinner, continue with your Night Drive and overnight in en suite air conditioned chalets. DAY TWO: Awaken at sunrise for an exhilarating day of unforgettable bush life. Drive to a remote venue, where you enjoy a 4h "walk in the wild". Your experienced, armed field guides will lead you through the bush at a pace you can handle in search of the Big Five. Return to Tremisana for brunch. Later you may sleep in your air conditioned chalet or swim in the pool. Lunch will be served at 13h30. At 15h30 we enjoy a 3.5h sundowner game drive. Return to Tremisana at around 19h30. DAY THREE: We travel to the Orpen Gate of Kruger Park where we board our open Gameviewer. The absence of windows and the elevated vantage position allow for excellent photographic opportunities. There will be regular stops at picnic spots, rest camps and places of interest. The Orpen-Satara-Nwanedzi regions boast open plains and support large herds of zebra, giraffe and antelope that attract numerous predators. In fact the zones we visit have the highest concentration of lions in Africa! DAY FOUR: Enjoy an early morning Sunrise Drive on the Open Landcruiser. After a hearty breakfast, there will be time to purchase some memorabilia from our shop and take your last photos of the luxuriant lush gardens at Tremisana. We then drive to the awesome Three Rondawels and the Blyde River Canyon. Return to JHB in the late afternoon. Airport drop off by arrangement. TARIFF includes all transfers, all entry fees, all game drives/walks, breakfasts and dinners. Excluded are lunches, drinks and personals.
