Karongwe River Lodge
You will be met at OR Tambo International Airport and driven to Karongwe River Lodge, arriving in time for a light lunch. Spend the next few hours relaxing by the pool or on the deck before heading out on a late afternoon safari in an open game drive vehicle. After watching the sun set, return to the lodge for dinner, which will be served either in the dining room or outside beneath the stars (weather permitting). You overnight in a luxury suite at Karongwe River Lodge and your stay includes lunch and dinner.

Karongwe River Lodge You will be woken up at 5 a.m. and given hot coffee and rusks to get you ready for a threehour game drive in the reserve at sunrise. When you get back to the resort, there will be a late breakfast waiting for you. The remainder of the day can be spent relaxing at the pool, library, spa, or lounge area. Your afternoon game drive will begin at 16:00 and end around 19:00, just in time for dinner in the dining room or outside under the stars (weather permitting). You spend the night in a deluxe suite at Karongwe River Lodge, which includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

On your final morning, enjoy another early game drive while watching the sun rise, followed by a hearty breakfast before departing for Johannesburg in the mid-morning. You will arrive at OR Tambo International Airport approximately 17:00 in the late afternoon. Breakfast at the resort is included in today's deal.
Allow the African bush to rejuvenate your senses during a safari at this tranquil riverfront setting. Spend the day lounging by the pool or watching wildlife from your private terrace before a late-afternoon safari in an open game drive vehicle. The stunning vista of the Makhutsi River is a natural gem, and your expansive room opening onto a large terrace provides opportunities to see elephant and antelope. Dine under the stars on Pan African cuisine in a rustic outdoor boma or, on alternating evenings, in the elegant dining room.
