Per Big Bull Safaris' own published Terms & Conditions (bigbullsafaris.com/terms-conditions): a deposit of 30%-50% of the total booking cost (depending on the tour) or the full amount is required to secure the booking; the balance is due on a specified date before departure (communicated at booking), failing which the booking may be cancelled and the deposit forfeited. Accepted payment channels: secure online credit card payment (3D Secure), domestic EFT, international bank wire, PayPal (credit/debit cards), or cash in certain cases. Cancellation/refund scale (forfeiture of total booking cost): day tours & short tours (<7 days) - more than 35 days before departure 20%; more than 21 days 50%; 21 days or fewer 100%. Long, cross-border & luxury tours - more than 35 days before departure 50%; 35 days or fewer 100%. Group tours (15+ people) - more than 90 days 20%; more than 60 days 60%; 60 days or fewer 100%. No-show on departure date = 100% forfeiture. Some lodges/suppliers apply stricter cancellation policies. COVID-19 government restrictions allow penalty-free postponement (deposit rolled over), but are no longer an automatic refund reason.

Day tours: full payment at booking; cancellation within 24 hours of start is non-refundable, while 48 hours prior incurs a 50% cancellation fee. Multi-day tours: 50% deposit to confirm, balance due at least 21 days before commencement (full payment if booked within 30 days). Cancellations 30 days or less before the start date are non-refundable. If Tourgy Tourz cancels due to circumstances beyond their control, a full refund is offered for services not rendered.

Bookings are confirmed on 100% payment. Multi-day/overnight tours: a booking postponed carries no fee and may be rebooked up to 12 months ahead at the same rate; cancellation fees are 25% if cancelled less than 14 days before arrival, 50% if less than 7 days, and 100% if cancelled 2 days or less before arrival; a 10% administration fee is charged on all cancellations. For multi-day tours staying inside Kruger National Park, a 25% cancellation fee applies if cancelled within 30 days of travel (due to SANParks cancellation policies). Day tours/safaris: 100% of payment is refunded if cancelled at least 24 hours before the travel date; a 20% non-refundable admin fee applies if cancelled within 24 hours of departure. All safaris may be postponed to a date up to 12 months ahead at no charge.

Per Red Africa Safaris' published Terms & Conditions Agreement (reproduced on its SafariBookings tour terms page): a 50% deposit of the full tour/quoted price is required at booking; the balance is due 30 days before the start of the safari; reservations made within 30 days of departure must be paid in full at confirmation. All cancellations must be in writing. Cancellation/no-show scale: cancelled between booking date and 61+ days before arrival -> 30% of the total booking cost (or 60% of the deposit) charged; 60 to 31 days before arrival -> 50% of total cost (or 100% of deposit) charged; within 30 days of arrival -> 100% of total cost charged (i.e. no refund). Modification fees: 2.5%/5% of deposit-equivalent before 61 days, 5%/10% between 60-31 days, 10% within 30 days. Force majeure cancellations also fall under these charges; clients are advised to take travel insurance. Guests are responsible for their own banking fees; payment is made into the company's bank account.
