A 50% deposit is required up front to secure a booking, paid via the secure payment processor on the website; the balance is payable on arrival at the lodge. Cancellation policy as published on the Terms & Conditions page: cancellation more than 14 days prior to departure -> the client forfeits 50% of their deposit; cancellation 14 days or fewer prior to departure -> the client forfeits 100% of their deposit. An admin fee of R750 is levied on all refunds processed to cover bank/admin charges. Postponement of a booked safari carries no fee (subject to terms).

Long-stay tours: balance due 40 days before departure; 55–49 days before = 50% refund (excl. non-refundable deposit); 48–42 days = 25% refund (excl. deposit); 41 days or less = 0% refund; no-show = 100% forfeiture. Day tours: 30-day notice forfeits 25%, 20-day notice 50%, 7-day notice 100%; full refund only if cancelled due to extreme weather.

A non-refundable 50% deposit of the total booking fee is due within 48 hours of the booking confirmation email; the balance is due no later than 40 days before the travel date. Long-stay tours: cancel 55-49 days before departure -> 50% of total refunded (excl. the non-refundable deposit); 48-42 days -> 25% refunded; 41 days or less -> no refund. Day tours: >30 days -> 75% refunded; 29-20 days -> 50%; 19 days or less -> no refund. Day tours cancelled for extreme weather are fully refunded. Death/hospitalisation of the traveller is credited per CPA s17(5).
