3 Day Kruger Gate Hotel Safari

You will be collected from either Johannesburg (O.R. Tambo International Airport) or Mbombela (Nelspruit) and transferred to the elegant Kruger Gate Hotel, located just outside Kruger National Park. After check-in, there is time to settle into your room, enjoy the hotel facilities, or have lunch at the hotel's restaurant before your first safari activity. In the afternoon, depart in an open safari vehicle and enter Kruger National Park in search of wildlife. The late afternoon hours often provide excellent game viewing opportunities as animals become more active before sunset. After your safari, return to the hotel for dinner. Enjoy a relaxed evening overlooking the Sabie River before retiring to your room for the night.

An early start allows you to enter the park as the gates open, maximising your chances of encountering wildlife during one of the most productive times of day. The day is spent exploring the renowned southern region of Kruger National Park. Your professional guide will select routes based on recent sightings, seasonal conditions and animal movements. Regular comfort stops are made at Kruger's rest camps and picnic areas where breakfast, refreshments and lunch can be purchased. Throughout the day, you may encounter elephants, lions, buffalo, rhinos, leopards, giraffes, zebras, antelope and a variety of birdlife. In the late afternoon, return to the Kruger Gate Hotel. Spend the evening relaxing at the pool, enjoying a drink overlooking the river, or dining beneath the stars at the hotel's famous boma.

Enjoy one final early morning safari drive before departing the Kruger region. The cool morning temperatures often provide excellent wildlife viewing opportunities and a final chance to experience the sights and sounds of the African bush. After the safari, return to the hotel for breakfast before checking out. Your guide will then transfer you back to Johannesburg or Mbombela, bringing your Kruger safari experience to a close.
