Johannesburg to Kruger National Park
The shuttle buses depart daily from OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg at 6:45am. It is a 5-6 hour drive from Johannesburg to Hoyo Hoyo Safari Lodge in the Kruger National Park. We take the scenic route through the historic towns of the Panorama Route and to the town of Hoedspruit, with scheduled stops for bathroom breaks and leg stretches. Arrive mid-day in the Mluwati Concession and into Hoyo Hoyo Safari Lodge. Enjoy a light meal and freshen up before departing late afternoon for a game drive on an open safari vehicle. Enjoy sundowners at a special vantage point. Dinner is a 3-course meal under the stars at the outdoor boma at Hoyo Hoyo Safari Camp (weather dependent). Sundowner drinks and a 3-course dinner with local wines, beers, and soft drinks are included.
